If I hear this again I'll scream. Can one of you CIXers set up a
system that will let us buy things over the Internet. I suggest the
following:
5. If you ordered something physical then it gets delivered to you later.
If you ordered something "soft" [like a standards doc in postscript] then
you get it immediately over the network.
i think you are mssing their point, they are not talking about problems in
ordering the documents, they mean (i believe) that if they sold "soft"
copies of the documents, their income stream would dry up since people would
not pay for copies anymore, people would just print one, and would
distribute these "soft" copies to others who hadnt paid. . . . .
