Is COM-PRIV Available On USENET?

My concern is that gatewaying com-priv to an "inet" Usenet newsgroup
will reduce the effective signal to noise ratio. I agree that many
com-priv topics deserve high(er) bandwidth, yet I suspect an increase
in prattle after it's gatewayed to Usenet. Examples of existing
newsgroups with mostly-high s/n ratio which started as mailing lists
could convince me otherwise.

And has anyone noticed how there's less interpolated/included text in
people's follow-up replies than you typically see in Usenet articles
(much of which can be software filtered, tho')?

Whatever you folks prefer... I'll go back to lurking. :-)
