USENET voting is stupid. I have the power and authority to gateway it
bi-directionally tomorrow to an "inet" group with very large
distribution. Suggest a newsgroup name, and say "go!" and I will do it
(although I reserve the right to change the newsgroup name to something
else if I don't think it works taxonomically).

Any guesses on what % of Internet newssites accept all such groups?

Are these groups necessarily within an "inet" heirarchy (i.e.,
inet.*)? If so, we don't get any here. Would we go ahead & kill the
mailing list if the newsgroup get set up? (I'm worried bec. Pnews here
doesn't recognize the inet distribution line....)
