Mary Johnston Turner, in her May 16, 1994 Network World Opinion piece
says that the "Demise of the Internet is good news for network users".
She goes on to say "The Internet as we currently know it, a
government-subsidized backbone interconnecting numerous ad hoc and
nonprofit regional networks, is unlikely to survive the next five
years".
She goes on in that vein. In case anyone wants to run out and retain
her for consulting purposes, she is a principal with Northeast
Consulting Resources, Inc., a Boston-based consulting company. She
can be reached at +1-617-654-0619 or via the Internet at
turner@ncri.com.
She can thank me for the free publicity later. Much later.
