I heard on CNN this morning that the government is demanding that the
author of PGP give up the "key" to decrypt encrypred files. Just in case
us good citizens want to encrypt stuff the gov wants to see, of course.
Not that anyone in the gov is corrupt and would use it for their own gain...
My question is: Didn't the author of PGP post the source code where the
gov can get it and doesn't that mean they can get the "key" from there?
Forgive me if this has been answered.
