The shell provider they were using when they sent their initial trash cancelled
their account the same day, but after receiving a threat of legal action (on
what grounds I didn't hear), the provider reenabled the account. This does not
bode well for the usual "send mail to the postmaster" approach to netiquette.
I expect all service providers to include "we reserve the right to refuse
service to anyone" paragraphs in their contracts from now on. But even those
can probably be challenged; America, at least, has a whole lot of lawyers.
