Seems like it wouldn't be too hard for the admins of various nets who
care to add router filters to cut off all contact with the offending
folks networks. also an option, though i wouldn't recommend it in
public :), is mail-bombing the sites that accept news from them (next
host in the trail). news is a voluntary scheme of retransmission, and
nobody beyond their provider is obligated to take their postings. in
fact, i'm not even sure all providers promise to provide you a place to
post your news to, some may just offer the pipe....
