Stroup" <nettech@crl.com> US West is only one of the RBOC's holding back on low cost ISDN services. While available in some areas (Seattle) (Home of Microsoft) the company has opted to not lower the rate on ISDN. A US West spokesman told me today that the company has NO plans to lower the cost of ISDN in 1994. The company is getting alot of calls everyday from people who are asking for ISDN for their homes. The US West answer is to tell the customer that another service called "Switched 56" is available. This service offers one 56k circuit and no voice ability. The service is less but , usage sensitive.
