Yet reading some other postings, there are a lot of people around that
want to conform this anarchy into THEIR idea of how it SHOULD run. I
grinned but didn't find it quite as humorous as a few other postings in
the same run through the mailbox (I recently received a posting on how
Windows ground the borg to a permanent halt).
Perhaps a big question at this point, is
DOES THE INTERNET AS IT IS -- WORK BECAUSE OF MAJOR GOVERNMENT
FUNDING AND A BASIC IDEA OF NO CENTRALIZED CONTROL...
That is -- can it work as well without such funding, and with the
increased usages that are emerging? -- as an anarchy? Can it work NOT as
an anarchy? Or will it just bog down under the laws and regulations
that suddenly spring into being to yield further advantage to those who
have the wherewithall to foist legislation on the government bodies
involved?
