It is an end to the (I'm being purposely U.S.-centric here) the jobs
that most Americans have.  Except, of course, my friends that work for
FedEx, UPS, and catalog companies.

It's not "The End", it's just a possible paradigm shift with
ramifications we can not predict.  Looking into my crystal ball, I see
a lot of jobs going away that aren't replaced by anything else.

Brad, how's this for a SF short story:  A planet where all
buying/selling is done by catalog and the FedEx people have become
more sacred than the church.  (Gee, if Ursula K. Leguin's father was an
economist instead of an anthropologist this story would already have
already been written!)
