If I made a mistake and used the wrong term - Please everyone shoot me. 
Gordon, your posting said that I made the comment MERIT was getting FREE 
local service. I said they were getting services for FREE and without 
checking my sent-mail I am sure I mentioned that it was Frame Relay. They
(Merit) were part of a trial. I considered that to be wrong and it is 
only one example of how Ameritech and Merit (U of M) are in the same bed. 
The announcement of the Internet deal I wil address in another posting.

PS: You mentioned that you would not publish such a thing in the Cook 
Report etc, etc. My comments on the net are based on the fact that I was 
present , along with others at locatiosn where telco people made direct 
statements and I made notes. What do they want ? Our telecom / Data 
market. People's hard earned efforts placed in their pockets. Life just 
does not work that way.
