Last january 25 when I sent my position paper to the national science
board suggesting that they turn down the NSF's intent to award the vbns
to MCI and ANS, I had an answer from Dr Duderstadt, NSF Board President
and University of Michigan President with 90 minutes after hitting the
send command.
