Some more (non US) perspective:
- $10k is roughly one months worth of a 128k line Amsterdam - Zuerich.
- $10k is roughly one weeks worth of a 2M line Amsterdam - Zuerich.
- $10k is roughly one months worth of a 2M national line (200km).
- $10k will pay the bond for 15 phone lines (refundable after 3 years).
- $10k will pay for one and half months wages for a tech support
person (not including costs for a replacement needed during
holidays and military service).
- $10k will pay for two smallish cisco's (2501's).
