Can't get off com-priv?

Why would anyone want to get off com-priv?

<G>

One of the rules I learned is to keep records of where one subscribes to
a mailing list. I do not get com-priv from psi.com, but I receive the
digest from elsewhere. Since no one has suggested this yet, check your
headers. And W3 had a list of several sites when I first subscribed.

When I did get it from psi, com-priv-request ended at a human named Sue
and I found her quite helpful and responsive. (I changed accounts
during that repost mixup a month or so ago.) That I did continue to
get mail for a while had nothing to do with psi, but AOL and some
other site reflecting old mail.

And my .02 worth here: Majordomo's nose is out of joint. I've sent it
commands as if it were a listserv, (a name to which sometimes it answers)
and it replies with a note INSISTING that I not treat it like a listserv.
Particularly annoying was the fact that it recognized the command I sent
but refused to execute it. Boy, I needed to be taught that lesson. Not.
