The problem is that it is -always- trivial to create borderline cases
that we can argue about the whole day.
I would suggest you ask yourself the following questions:
- do you (MITnet) have a financial interest in your operations
(with other words: are you running a business)?
- would something serious happen if you lost connectivity to
a CIX members customers (have you been signing contracts
guaranteeing access to CIX members and would you be charged
with fraud if somebody finds out that you can't do it)?
- are you competing with a CIX member for customers?
If the answer is 3 times yes, then I would consider CIX membership a
very, very sensible thing to obtain.
