But is not the amount of data sent via these connections, ISDN or
switched 56 metered, leaving the user with a MUCH larger bill than
$30 or $45 per month? For similar prices you can use PPP with
modems and move data traffic around the LATA for fixed rate fees!
This is enormously less expensive than ISDN metered access!
If you need more bandwidth, use additional phone lines, modems
and use OSPF with PPP.
If flat rate ISDN or switched 56 is available for less than $100
per month, anywhere, Please have the Telco contact GTE in Tampa,
so they can 'do lunch'.
