To all interested parties -
I am in the final stages of completing an analysis and report on the current
size of the IP access provider marketplace, including market share and
identification of the leaders. Attached is a request posted to several other
lists and directly to individual providers. I do not wish to leave anyone out
that wants to be included, nor to misrepresent anyone's "share". I also will
be analyzing trends and forecasting what the size of the market will be in 12
months, and who the likely "front runners" are.
The report will be available in complete form for purchase (price yet to be
determined), with a summary available at no charge to those that are kind
enough to provide me with their information.

Dear Internet Access Provider;
I am in the process of trying to get a clear picture of how large the
Internet access business is in the U.S. today, as well as the percentage of
marketshare held by each organization. Although I can make "guesstimates"
from the number of registered networks, this will not provide an accurate
view of the total market, and I do not want to under-represent your
organization in a published document.
For all of those networks that provide me with their information, I will make
a summary of the results available. I will not publish any specific numbers
if you wish them kept confidential and will use them solely in the summary.
If you wish them to be public (or if they already are), I will indicate your
percentage of market share in my report.
Thank you in advance for your participation. I believe that this will help
all of those that respond through increased public exposure, and by
demonstrating how vibrant our community is today.
