Absolutely. You're absolutely right. I should be doing my own writing
on the subject. Indeed I am. The subject, my ``unspoken agenda'', was,
I thought, quite clearly stated. My agenda was, and still is, outright
hostility toward your arrogant and self-righteous attitude. NREN and
ANS are issues, but certainly not the issues I raised with you.

No, the issues I raised were focused on your boasting and bragging
about what a great reporter you are. You see, reporting is the art of
observing and being able to clearly state what you observe. You made
some mistakes in your initial piece. As I said in my previous mail, I
won't argue point of view or sensationalism, as others have. My point
is simply that you did make mistakes, not surprising given your
apparent lack of familiarity with the subject matter. But after being
lambasted and publicly ridiculed, rightly or wrongly, by members of
the net community, you had the audacity to write that you were best
qualified to handle Internet coverage.

In my view, your statements were in poor taste. You pissed me off, so
I responded. You've replied to me twice in e-mail since then, calling
me names in the first letter, accusing me of some sort of coverup in
the second. Now you've really pissed me off.

Yes, I'm allowed. Oh yes, I'm allowed.
