I know it may be somewhat premature for us, since we've gotten off to a
late start, but those of you involved in the subgroups should be thinking
and telling me by Wednesday, if possible, what, if any, use of Matt's time
we could make in late March/early April.
I know some other groups have reached a point where they are ready to ask
Matt to review workflow choices or answer questions that have arisen since
initial training. We don't have to be specific this week about exactly
what questions we have, but I'd like to be able to say on Wednesday at BOG
1. whether or not we would like to meet with Matt,
2. what staff might be included,
3. and how long a session do we need?
I know you're all assembling a running list of "big" issues, as well as
lists of smaller questions that come up as you experiment. For at least
some of those big issues, we may have gotten some input or have developed
some scenarios to help us define "what ifs", and it might be useful to run
through some of these with Matt. We can certainly talk more about this on
Thursday, but please let me and Acq2 know what you're thinking about by
Wednesday at noon.
Thanks! MGM

I'm forwarding Grant's message from Friday. Gauging from the
BOG discussion last Wednesday, we were nearing agreement that
we wanted Matt back sooner rather than later. It appears that
his schedule has made that decision for us.
This Wednesday I would like to use 10 minutes to review and
confirm our thinking on additional training and to try and
estimate how many days of his time we will need. I would like to
get on his calendar by Friday. So, please be thinking carefully
of your continuing need, how you would focus your needs for his
training, and how much time you would need. My assumption is the
same numbers would apply to these sessions as we had initially.
Thanks very much,
Greg

I just got a call from Matt Goldner about the audit trail for Circ. There
is actually a file he didn't know about that has exactly the info we need,
but more germane here is that he says he's solidly booked from April 24
through most of June so we should try to get him back in early April at the
latest.
