At the rate we're going we won't have to worry about this before our
next meeting (Monday, 6/19, 3:00 -- did somebody reserve Barker for
us?) but just in case emmy is actually up before then, I wanted to set
the record straight on post-GMA2 testing.
We do NOT have to test everything all over again. This round of
testing is for the purpose of making sure our data got migrated
correctly. No functionality will have changed from the last
migration. So, if everyone will just get in there and play, look
around, test a bit, that will be fine. Feel free to use your LCNs if
you like, or just search around. Please do fill out forms so we have
something to prove we tested it. No need to repeat the happy
experience of testing each and every MARC tag and index; just normal
old searching this time.
Please contact Carol if you have questions about testing before
Monday.
