2nd GMA testing

Just to get it down on "paper," here's a starter list for what we
will need to test after we get the 2nd GMA data, and before we go
live. We're scheduled to get 2nd GMA data June 13 afternoon.
--migration testing. We need to go through all the pre-selected test
records and see what they look like.
--B.Index testing. I've got a core list of records to poke around in.
--our specs. This is a big one. Like, will we be able to load
records from OCLC by then? How? We'll need to have some test records
ready ahead of time, for things like 599 matching, UBIX, stripping,
etc. etc.
--bugs that Geac says have been fixed. Have they really?
--bugs that Geac said would go away with 2nd GMA. Did they?
--phantom holdings. It works now; will it work then?
--serials stuff--you guys know what you're doing.
--general poking around. Have all the Z's been turned into B's?
Catch the buzz.
--some real basic functional testing. Does it still work?
Granted, this is a very vague, non-detailed list, but it shows that
come June 13 we're going to be the busiest beavers on the MIT Campus!!
