The phantom holdings problems resulted whenever there was a 049 with a
$c. If the 049 had only a $a the system didn't attempt to create the
049 phantom holding. This was written into loader software. We asked
Geac to delete that part of the code. They have and now if a few of
you could test it out on Monday and let me know whether the fix is actually in
and works! Hopefully, it does and we will never again have to discuss
this topic of phantom holdings again!

The change has been installed to PIECES.CREATE.UPDATE both at MIT and
here on their GMA account.
