Sorry if this is a repeat message. I was able to cause records that
were not exhibiting the phantom holdings phenomenon to do so by adding
a $c subfield to the 049 field. Can others confirm or deny that it is
records without 049 $c (like "The Sun Also Rises") that do not
engender phantoms, and records that have 049 $c that do?
