I have this on my list of reminders, but I'm not sure who else you may have
heard from. So in case this is a duplicate communication, excuse me,
please:
For Serials Control, we'll need barcode wands on 6 machines -
Buddy Traves, Ellen Duranceau, Czeslaw Jankowski, Julie Wang, and two
shared terminals: one in our student space accross from Buddy, and one
outside Julie's space.
For Acquisitions, we'll need at least 4. Aida Sayegh, Christine MOulen,
Charlene Follett, and one of the student terminals. I am not certain about
the other student terminal, nor about Bruce and Roger. Please confirm with
Charlene before installing these.
I've been talking with Ray about printers, and SAS is ordering new HP
Deskjet 540's for Aida, Julie, and Czeslaw. I don't know if this is
supposed to come out of some other budget, but we're concerned about having
decent printers at the time we come up live, so I told Laura to go ahead.
We know screen prints are featuring big in the workflow for the forseeable
future, and the printers currently in use were all pretty marginal.
