Group: Anne has a proposal. Please let me know what you think.
If most people favor this, we'll do it. OK? -AP

Subject: Holds notices

Regarding holds notices, if we send a hold notice out and the book is not
on the shelf, we may have some disgruntled patrons. It won't be a big
deal for someone at Hayden to go through the notices when we get them each
day, looking for hold notices. The hold notices could be sent to each
library, as appropriate, and if the item is indeed on the shelf, after a
library staff person finds it, the hold notice can be sent out. What do
you think?

I think we'll do this for our books, since we have the notices before they
go out anyway.
