Good day. I linked 2 analytic records (Intl. Cong. on Pesticide
Chemistry, 3rd... LCN10025053, and Int'l Conf. on Non-Aqueous
Solutions, 4th... LCN10024750) to the journal Pure and applied
chemistry (LCN10296093) in which they appear, as I was bidden to do.
The analytics now have the note "This is a component record; to see
Header record, choose Header option" which is in the option line at
the bottom of the screen.
The only problem that I can see is that records with items
attached cannot be designated as component, i.e. analytic
records (which is done by changing one code in the leader, and using
the Link function.) Unfortunately, a number of analytics had a barcode
attached in Barton; these are the ones that are call # searchable by
"No call #" in Advance. Having to transfer the item records (or would
we just delete them?) to the Header record would make the procedure
ever-laborious.
Another thing I have noticed is that a tiny tear in the cuticle
of your littlest finger can make your whole body hurt.
