Greetings. Greg will soon be sending out an invitation to all staff
to a series of events: an "all staff meeting" of the usual sort, to
provide updates on Advance implementation; and a series of
demo/discussions, one for each module, open to all (not sure where
these will be held; the training room is rather small.)
Theoretically, I think the idea is that members of each functional
group will attend that group's session. For example, for the
cataloging "focussed discussion", a number of people from that group
would be present to answer questions.
So, please try to hold this time slot on your calendars: Wed., May
17, 3-4:30. I will assume I'm giving a demo of the circ system, and
that the non-circ attendees will have questions. So, please try to
attend so that there will be a broader perspective available than just
