I think we should go ahead and announce these sessions to the
catalogers, and get on everyone's calendar. A little Advance notice
also should help people get ready, psychologically, for change (even
though we may be just lulling them into a false sense of security that
we know what we're doing). Presumably, by then, we will know--or else
we'll have a lot of explaining to do.
Will each of these sessions be exactly the same, or will we orient one
toward monograph cataloging procedures and one toward serials
cataloging procedures? If the latter, I would like to suggest that we
use the Thursday session for the serials catalogers, since it overlaps
with the Serials Cataloging Section meeting.
