I spoke with Anita about the circ staff login question we discussed
yesterday. Here's her answer as I understand it. Anita, please feel
free to add to or correct the following:
1. Yes, everyone who staffs a circ desk will have individual logins,
and will have to log in at the beginning of their shift. Yes, this
includes every student employee.
2. Details of how to structure permissions for library staff who work
at more than one circ point, even occasionally, have not yet been
worked out. Anita and Grant are both well aware -- perhaps even
painfully so -- that they must do this. They are both aware that
there are many people who will need authority to work more than one
circ desk. Anita's general vision of this is that flexibility should
be built into the system.
