Hi all
Jennie I am not sure exactly what you mean by aborting a search but
if I do a search such as w=polymer and w=conference and then hit
enter. I can stop the search by hitting the enter key again. The
system then prompts that I have interrupted the searching. It offers
me the following selections:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Look for the FIRST WORD(S) in: Look for KEYWORD(S) in:
author a= author keyword aw=
title t= title keyword tw=
subject s= subject keyword sw=
all indexes all= all indexes w=
series se= series keyword sew=
call number c= notes nw=
<Boolean Search (AND, OR, NOT)> <Course Reserves>
<Additional Searches>
>>> w=polymer and w=conference
Enter any word(s) in the series title. (word order does not matter)
You INTERRUPTED the searching. Please select an option from below.
Options: Continue with the current task
Continue Quit New search Reset ? help
---------------------------------------------------
As you can see, new search is an option. Is that what you mean?
Suzanne
