Our friends at I/S had a busy weekend working on emmy's problems and think
they've gotten close to a solving them.
emmy has a lot of hard disks. We had to use some system software to link
them together in a "disk array" to provide for fault tolerance and more
space. It turns out there seems to have been some problems with the
software. Sun has provided software patches which have been installed on
emmy and which seem to be working. Naturally, we'll keep an eye on it but
emmy should be getting more reliable.
We just thought it would good for you all to know that it doesn't seem to
be a problem with the Geac Advance software.
