Hello all,
I am interested in what mechanisms other schools are using to track
computer abuse reports. I would like to know the following:
What you use
- email
- database (commercial or homegrown)
- if homegrown, are you willing to share it
- if commercial, what is it and price range
- blissful ignorance (if I don't see it, it does not bother me)
- other...
- outsource (Dshield or the like)
Do you provide reporting
- to the College/University community
- direct management only
- Coll/Univ. Administration
- other...
Do other groups on campus use the same system
- Campus Safety/Security
- Student Affairs/Coduct/Dean of Students
- other...
And lastly, is it a standalone system or does it do multiple tasks
- is it your primary trouble tracking system or dedicated to
tracking computer violations.
Thank you for any and all information that you share. Details will be
shared with the list if desired.
