Packetshaper 4500/PacketWise 5.2They had bugs in the first and second
versons of 5.2.0
I understand the current release is safe.

Call them. They are very helpful. If you have a service contract.

  Subject: Packetshaper 4500/PacketWise 5.2

Over the last few weeks, I have been trying to update our Packetshaper to
the new version of software (5.2.0). From the start I have had nothing but
problems. Each time having to revert back to the previous version to get
things running acceptably again. Prior updates have generally gone smooth,
but this one has been a real headache.

Symptoms: May show standard traffic volumes/patterns but in reality the
Internet connections stink. Or it just throttles traffic back so bad that
the connection is useless. Once I turn off shaping, things get speedy.
When I go back to the previous version, all with same traffic tree, things
go back to normal.

Has anyone out there, with a 4500 or other model, updated to the
PacketWise v5.2?
  Experiences?
