Hi,
I have a head technician, Support Center Leader, who helps manage the =
other techs, especially when I am not around in the evenings.
=20
Also, my technicians have team project they work on during a "lag" time. =
So if they are not in an appointment or in-office install [logged in =
our help desk] they work on projects and these are easily monitored.

Subject: Supervising student techs
Can anyone send me ideas on how to maintain quality control over the =
student staff, ie are they doing their jobs in the evening when the =
boss has gone home? Do you have night time shift supervisors? Are the =
techs under the direct supervision of the residence hall directors? I =
guess what I=92m asking is how do you guys maintain student tech =
accountability to ensure that they are doing what they are supposed to =
be doing at night? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
