The request for ResNet 2002 presentation proposals begins in
a few short days. Starting on January 15 you will be able to
submit a proposal for a presentation, panel, BoF or
as notify us as you look to cast out some of your documentation
for the documentation fair.

Information on the submission site will be posted on
the 15th. We, the Program Committee, look
forward to developing a great program for Buffalo
but we need your submissions to do so.

The following are possible topic ideas:
Managing computer clusters
Financial models for supporting ResNets
Work order software comparison/utilization
Status of desk top and laptop imaging
Supporting laptop campus environments
Mac OSX overview
Bandwidth/resource management solutions
Bandwidth management policies
Revisiting computing space
        clusters, cyberlounges, cyber cafes, use of open space, impact of wireless
Intrusion detection products and methods
Status of copyright and related issues (DMCA, NetPD so forth)
Partnerships with the academic side of the house
The state of wireless/how is wireless augmenting the student
    learning environment
Wireless security and authentication methods
Continuing impact of P2P technologies
Issues in supporting the mixed windows flavors (affect of XP/ME)
How far does your computing support go?
Staff training models
Steps to installing, administrating and securing a linux/unix computer
State of video streaming, video conference
Review of software development tools
Overview of network management utilities
Virus/Anti-virus strategies
Distance education

Also think about those things you do that might seem
mundane but could be of assistance to your colleagues.
We all bring a unique perspective and the symposium
offers us a forum to share that uniqueness.
