Allyn,
I have managed 8 Tex Phaser 850n units and 1 newer 860 (more or less the
same platform) and they have all proven flawless!
The solid color ink is expensive but the manufacturer specifications in
reference to usage have been right on.
The Black consumables to the best of my knowledge are still free for the
life of the unit in our area and the units can be managed through a web
interface to utilize only black ink unless a user has permissions to change
the color and resolution properties.
Resolution and color saturation is spectacular but remember that you cannot
hot laminate wax documents!
Thank you,

Subject: Tektronics/Xerox Printer Question
Has anyone used the Tektronics (Now Xerox) Phaser 860 Solid Ink Laser
Printer? We're looking to buy one and wondered how other people liked them?
How fast does the ink go? Thanks!!
