Which one do people like better. The CF/Access would provide totally
Web-based interface while the Support Magic stuff is really a "proprietary
solution". To get full functionality, you need IE on Windows (because
Magic uses ActiveX components/VBScript).
This is a battle here because some of us refuse to use proprietary
solutions (although I am a PC guy, the last thing I want to do is tell our
Linux or Mac bigots that they have to use Windows :)
Our Help Desk (which support ResNet uses Magic, our Networking group uses
Paradigm (X based) and our OS gorup uses JSP driven Web site to standard
databases :)
PS I never posted the summary of the bandwidth/user a few weeks back
because I only got one response (people are shy of expressing Kb/sec per
user because it "sounds" so bad :)
