A bunch of comments.

 * My business pays 1.6c/minute for local calls. Nothing as obscene
as 11c/minute.

 * ISDN is only available at about 1/3 of the central offices in this
area right now. Much worse, there is *NO* inter-CO ISDN data service
currently. So, do dial to MIT with ISDN, you need to use the same CO
as MIT, which you probably don't.

 * The termination hardware on your end is rather expensive, about
$800.

 * As many people pointed out, there is no flat-rate tariff currently.
Maybe someday. The California PUC recently ordered the telco out
there to make up a flat-rate residential ISDN tariff. If only we were
so lucky.
