Hi Edward,

ftp.nai.com/virusdefs/4.x contains the following files:

*.upd (incremental updates to save bandwidth)
*.exe (superdat - engine only xxxxeng.exe, and sdatxxxx.exe engine and
datfiles)
*.zip, *.tar (dat file upgrades)
There are also various other files that make things work like update.ini,
delta.ini etc.

We use ePO and VirusScan for our Staff systems, however we mirror the ftp
site and then tell our staff systems to update from the local site to save
internet bandwidth. If you run your own mirror on an ftp site, then you can
also check the ftp logs to see when systems are updating, or not updating as
the case may be.

If you have any more questions about ePO or VirusScan, I am happy to help.

John
