We've had problems with AppleTalk and a Cisco switch on part of our network
in the past. As a result, I had to setup a couple of the labs with IP
printers and IP filesharing. Both of these were made possible with just the
OS. The only third-party software I had to get was the latest version of
RevRdist. 1.6b25, I think it is, runs restorations over IP.

What are the advantages of DAVE and/or ExtremeZ? Do your servers support IP
connections for printing/file sharing?
