Found this site the other day

http://www.tweakxp.com

Their solution, (and they have about 4 ways of doing this, from editing the
registry, to uninstalling this un-uninstalable program)

Just stop the program, and rename the C:\program files\msn Messenger (or is
it just Messenger) directory to something else.

Subject: uninstalling Windows Messenger on XP

I've had an Win XP machine running for about a week now... Not sure if I
like the changes...

How do I uninstall Windows Messenger? I can't seem to figure this one out.
