UC Berkeley Student Affairs Information Technologies is pleased to
announce recruitment for a Chief Security Officer.
This position is responsible for security and privacy oversight and
compliance across the Student Affairs Division - including policy
development, oversight, and compliance; security incident management;
and audit activities. The CSO also will direct the work of the student
Information Security team that is focused on protecting the residence
hall network and all connected devices through enforcement of campus
minimum security standards, promotion of safe computing practices, and
compliance with appropriate use policies.
