Unix Systems Administrator
Gustavus Technology Services
Gustavus Adolphus College is seeking a Unix Systems Administrator who will
assist the campus in the support, configuration, and implementation of its
Unix/Linux infrastructure. Working directly with the Associate Directors of
Core Services, the Unix Systems Administrator will be directly responsible
for diagnostics and operation of the many campus services supported by our
Unix Servers and with designing and implementing a sustainable strategy for
the continued growth of these technologies.
Candidates should have proven experience providing Unix/Linux systems
support and outstanding customer service skills. Experience with scripting,
SMTP, apache, PHP desired and experience with TCP/IP networking, WiFi,
LDAP, SQL, perl and Windows servers a plus. Bachelor=92s degree required.
