Hi everyone,
Web Help Desk is now part of "the Solarwinds Family" (
http://www.solarwinds.com/), which has a reputation for being PC-centric.
The TUAW website had the following story on it:

SolarWinds didn't kill existing installations of WHD and will continue
to support
them, but they said (initially) that any new installations would be done on
Windows servers only. Then, the VP of products from Solarwinds responded
and said that they are just not selling Linux and Mac version for now:

Are other WHD users out there aware of this change in ownership? In light
of the change, what are your plans for ticket tracking and asset
management? I think that Macalester is going to wait and see what happens
with SolarWinds, but we'd like to know what others are thinking.
