That doesn't preclude you from imaging their machines with your own
media/image. It's not like there's any unique magic embedded into each DVD.
Just make sure to enter the activation info they bought before you hand the
machine back, and don't put anything on the images that you don't have
licensing for. You could save hours per machine, especially if you use WDS
and keep a rolling database of common drivers.
