I'm trying to find an Apple script and work flow automation training
workshop. So far, all I found is one in San Francisco, which my boss
doesn't want to send me to (because it's on the West Coast, and we're
located in Pennsylvania). Everything else listed, when I googled apple
Script training, was books and online training videos.
I'm in charge of imaging all the Macs, and they want customized user
accounts. I've been able to customize most things by re-writing the
default template, but some things need to be done post-deployment. They're
attached to the domain via a Windows server and AD, so not able to use
Apple server components.
I've tried use some online tutorials, but they're more geared to specific
software, like Photoshop, and not the Finder ... and I don't know enough to
adapt them. So, please let me know if you know of any Apple script and
Automator workshops.
If you know or have any scripts for customizing the finder and user
profiles, that would be much appreciated too.
