I have several printing/copying questions and am hoping you could help with some feedback.
Print and Copy Charges
How much do you charge per B&W print for students? .05c
Do you charge students per B&W copy? they go across the street to the big central library
How much do you charge per color print for students? .35c
Do you charge students per color copy? they go across the street to the big central library

If so, what is it? Seniors get 3000 pages per year, all others get 2000 per year. After that they buy print blocks from us at .05cents pp

Tracking copying and printing?
How do you track student printing? Swipe card, login, code... Pcounter software

Do you track faculty and staff printing? NO
Access to printing and copying?
Do you have student printing available in residence halls and public areas? YES
Do you have student copying available in residence halls and public areas? NO
Is this one and the same device in these areas?
Specialized printing?
Do you allow student access to oversized printers, (for example poster printers) and how do you charge for oversized/specialized printing?
Are you setup to allow wireless printing? NO
Are you aware of students printing without having it accounted for in public areas? NO
Do you have individual faculty and staff with personal printers? Unfortunately yes
Is faculty/staff printing tracked and accounted for? NO
Who manages printing? IT
Do separate divisions/areas of the college charge different rates for printing? NO
Where are your consumables and paper stored and how are they accessed when needed? In a storage room in our main building
What department of the college is responsible for managing printing? IT
What department of the college is responsible for managing copying?
Are printers/MFPs/copiers/fax machines all managed by the department you cited above?
If not, why not? Xerox Copiers for faculty / staff are managed by our Mailroom/Treasurer's office
Technology Fee? NO
Is printing accounted for in your technology fee?
If so how much is the technology fee?
