Hi Beth and all,

I've found almost exactly the same thing (even to almost the same
percentages) - an alumnus who has donated greatly to us (actually funded
three of our primary computing spaces) called our labs "study halls with
computers"

And since we've gone dual-monitors in most of our spaces (we stayed wide-
screen in one to cater to students who like that style) we've seen utilization go
up in what has been traditionally low-usage periods as students just come in to
work and to take advantage of the "dual-screen styling" (one student's words)

Cheers (and Happy New Year!)
M
