Hi Brian,

At Bucknell, we moved to Zimbra a few years ago, and then moved away from
it to Google Apps for everyone in 2009-10.

Zimbra worked great as a web only client, but we had a terrible experience
trying to use the Outlook connector. When we moved to Google Apps, we very
specifically did not entertain the vaguest concept of using a connector
with Outlook and we've been firm about telling Outlook and Apple Mail users
that we fully support the web client only . . . and it has worked out
really well for nearly everyone involved.

We also used Meeting Maker back in the day, and there are still some people
who miss those halcyon days of yesteryear when email was Eudora and
calendars were separate, but you're doing yourself a disservice if you
don't take advantage of the huge collaborative possibilities with a suite.

Good luck - it's a sweeping change, but everyone adjusts to it eventually!
