Do they have 2GB of RAM in them? Might be pagefiles, which by default is
equal to the size of RAM (in Vista & 7, not sure about XP but it makes
sense). If hibernation is enabled, that might be eating the space too. Or
it could be the old HDD manufacturer trick where 1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes
and so the 14GB you see in the OS (which is calculated on base 2 numbers)
equates to 16GB calculated with the tricky math.
